  • Abstracts selected by the committee will be presented as oral presentations during the Walsh in Asia symposium (date will be updated soon). Abstracts that are not selected for Walsh in Asia symposium will be offered the opportunity to present as a ePoster presentation.

WALSH IN ASIA ABSTRACT PREPARATION GUIDELINES:
  • Abstracts must be in English.
  • All abstracts should be submitted online via submission system.
  • The title should not reveal the diagnosis but should be relevant to the case material.
  • Six items needed:
    • Summary of Clinical history & exam finding;
    • Case abstract with references
    • Case Dilemmas – e.g. difficult decision making, incorrect diagnosis;
    • Two/Three teaching points;
    • Representative Radiology Images (the images will be requested later);
    • Representative Pathology Images (the images will be requested later);
  • Please crop out any patient identifiers in any images.
  • Glass pathology slides may be requests based on the pathologist’s review.
  • Full imaging may be requested based on the radiologist’s review.
  • Abstracts must be in English.
  • All abstracts should be submitted online via submission system.

  • The presenting author must be a registered participant for the ASNOS 2022 congress.
  • ASNOS 2022 congress will not accept abstracts that have been accepted for publication at the time of submission.
  • Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation is not allowed in ASNOS abstract presentations without prior approval from the ASNOS 2022 congress.
  • Authors must select whether they would like the abstract to be considered for platform presentation or poster presentation.   • The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to indicate clearly the nature of the study. Capitalize the first letter of each word.
  • The word limit for all abstracts is 300 words NOT including Title, Authors, Affiliations, Disclosures and References.
  • Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted. Please edit your abstract carefully to avoid errors and misspellings.
  • Title: Title should be as brief as possible but long enough to give clear nature of the study. Capitalize the first letter of each word.
  • Author(s): Provide the full name of every author, including degrees. but omit titles or institutional appointments.
  • Institution(s): Indicate the name and address of the institution(s) where the research work was carried out.
  • Abstracts should be arranged in the following format:

YNO are young neuro-ophthalmologist or neuro-Ophthalmology fellows practicing in the Asia who are below 45 years old at the time of ASNOS 2022 Congress. All authors wishing to participate in the YNO competition must submit their abstract through the 11th ASNOS 2022 Abstract Submission site, indicate their interest on the “Young Neuro-Ophthalmologist” section of the site

The Presenting Author will receive all correspondence regarding the abstract status, presentation type, date and time, via the email that is provided in the abstract submission.
